- topato 1y agoNot really a "word nerd" situation. It's a really obvious typo. Might as well have said, "tee hee, I'm, like, autistic for words".

- beardyw 1y agoI've been reading John Evelyn's diary, among others from the 17th century. There is absolutely no sense there is a correct spelling of a word, as writing is correctly seen as speaking written down. Correct spelling is a modern invention of limited value (but helpful for AI).

- dosco189 1y agoYou are correct! Sadly I can't go back and edit. If this was an LLM, I would just start a new chat without the typo. A new context forgives the sins of the past. Funny that I'm exploring the impacts of over-dependance/reliance on AI tools, and made a mistake because of the same. Will certainly proof-read after using speech to text! and yes, extent*
