I subsidize all you power users: with my own $20 Claude Code subscription I use it for a few days per month for maybe a few hours. For my day job it's pay-by-token for the same thing. So, I am not sure it is as bad as the article says. And there is a huge advantage to capturing developer mindshare worth burning millions on. And isn't Anthropic backed by Amazon?
