- cess11 1y agoNo, it won't. It restricts how you modify and distribute, which isn't a user thing to do, it's more of a developer thing. And whether it works or not is mostly untested in the legal sense but the idea with copyleft licensing is that big money shouldn't be able to ratfuck a free software embrace/extinguish-style, or some other way. I.e. it is supposed to protect the rights of the users to enjoy free software.
