One difference is that we all know how Trump should act if he’s innocent: he should be mad that he’s mentioned at all. He should direct the Attorney General to clear his good name. The video from Epstein's camera-studded mansion should show him upstanding. But instead the AG claims that all that video is evidence of crimes against children —- in a twist implying that none of the victims are entitled to use it in court, or for an innocent man to clear his name. Maybe it’s not a coverup, but to shrug here is to accept his guilt. And we get to see who shrugs.
