This attack works all the time, look at the "grandma I need $1k to be bailed out of jail" scam.

- heavyset_go 1y agoMy point is the attack in general works, whether you add AI voice cloning or not as a layer of indirection from the truth. It doesn't need AI, but it can and does work with AI.
