Having a partner who plays around with political name-calling, even in defense of the fund's desired idea that anybody who doesn't want to minimize taxes must be illegitimate in some way that only needs to be devised and spread, is a bad idea for any and every fund. Once any org stops pretending to be neutral in politics the org is forced to pick a side and can no longer fence-sit, which could lead to falling out of a window.
