- kgwxd 1y agoSorry for that. I'd overthrow the entire US government, but I'm just too darn lazy.
- lysace 1y agoIt's all fucked up. What's even more fucked up is that your national media (ABC, CBS, NBC, NYT, WP) are all acting like this isn't fucked up. I consider myself a European conservative and I think the US is indeed dramatically fucked up right now.
- kgwxd 1y ago> And I consider myself a ... conservative I glean that from the hate for an entire group of people based solely on where they live. Sorry my media is annoying you, it's been bugging me too. I'll take it to the shop and have it fixed, ASAP. Hope I can foot the bill, but my health care system needs some work too, not sure I can get both done this month :/
- IAmGraydon 1y agoI have to wonder how much you consume American media because the networks you mentioned are almost all talking about how fucked up it is, with the possible exception of CNBC.
- kgwxd 1y agoThey're definitely not doing anywhere near what they should be. If a democrat was in there, doing even 1/1000th of what's going on now, they'd be all over it. Because they wouldn't be afraid for their bottom line, or ever their personal safety. Because democrats aren't anywhere near perfect, but they're light years away from being fascist dictators, that threaten every form of criticism with government force, and the base would never act like domestic terrorist.
- duxup 1y agoWoke up on the wrong side of the bed today I guess ... maybe tomorrow he won't.
- kgwxd 1y agoJust the daily dose of market manipulation.

- rasz 1y agoDont worry, russia once again got spared!
- sidvit 1y agoMy gut says they're a lot more emboldened to go full tilt on the tarrifs with the budget bill passed. The plan all along has been to shift from taxes to this to raise revenue for the govt, and with the enormous deficit hit from that they have the cover to say "well we need to balance the budget" etc.
- Sabinus 1y agoTrump doesn't have the power. There needs to be a real emergency, or congress needs to pass it. And I think 'tax cuts' are easier for the Republicans to pass than tariffs but we'll see.
- IAmGraydon 1y agoHate to tell you, but no one is enforcing the laws and the tariffs are already in place.
- jfengel 1y agoWho defines what constitutes a "real emergency"?
