Show HN: SimTool – Terminal UI for iOS Simulator Management
I built SimTool to solve a recurring pain point in iOS development: constantly navigating through Finder to inspect app containers and simulator files.
It's a terminal UI that lets you:
- Browse all iOS simulators and their installed apps
- Navigate app containers with syntax-highlighted file viewing
- Preview images, SQLite databases, plists, and archives in terminal
- Search/filter simulators and apps
- Boot simulators and open files in Finder with keyboard shortcuts
Built with Go and Bubble Tea. Supports 60+ syntax highlighting themes and works across different terminals.
Installation: brew install azizuysal/simtool/simtool

Would appreciate any feedback, especially from iOS developers who deal with simulators daily.
