There are plenty of opportunities for entrepreneurship in the EU if you don't mind implementing boring, existing tech for more "physical" business owners. It's more that the world of risky VC-funded tech start-ups is somewhat foreign to us.
Such ventures are certainly still out there if you know where to look, but they feel native to the U.S. tech industry in all their facets — for better or worse, I suppose.
