It's worth noting that their policies with regard to global health initiatives are currently killing 88-people every hour, on average. Mostly children.

- southernplaces7 1y agoWow, talk about a completely loaded and dishonest definition of cause and effect. I personally think that the U.S should fund these programs for health overseas, but saying that it no longer funding some of them is killing 88 people per hour is completely off base. The diseases these programs addressed are what kills 88 people per hour, not some U.S policy. Since the U.S doesn't have a legal obligation to fund such programs, you claiming them as responsible is like saying that because you don't donate X money per month to some anti-malaria charity (for example), you're killing some group of children that would have had their malaria treated in those months by your specific donation.
