tmux runs fine in WSL1/2
- nickjj 1y agoYep I've been doing this since WSL 1 was available, it's rock solid. My dotfiles at https://github.com/nickjj/dotfiles https://github.com/nickjj/dotfiles have an install script to automatically get everything (including tmux w/ plugins) set up on Debian, Ubuntu, Arch Linux or macOS. This includes native Linux and WSL 2 support.
- alexvitkov 1y agoWSL is not Windows. Unless you can work entirely in WSL (and if I could I'd just use Linux) having to juggle fake filesystems, incompatible symlinks, two PATHs, three shells is a bit much.
