Because Microsoft was trying to takeover and change Java, and Sun actually made Java. How is that in any way the same situation as this?
- tgma 1y agoTake over and change? They were adding functionality: embrace and extend. It wasn't like most reasonable people wouldn't agree it was lowercase "javascript". Seems pretty similar to what's happening today.
