Institutions unable to recognize new Indigenous street name
- kelseydh 1y agoIn Australia, neither the BECS or (new!) NPP payment protocols even support the use of special accent characters like à, è, ì, ò, ù. Interbank transactions fail if you have a French name. Shows a real lack of foresight by system designers to not include full unicode support.

- joegibbs 1y agoIs Musqueamview not good enough? Or at least transliterate it into the Latin alphabet, or have Musqueamview as the main name and the other one on signs but not the actual name.
