- ggm 1y agoAnd instead incurred the burden of imunnosupressive drugs. It may be a good trade, but this isn't a zero consequence thing. The treatment injects foreign genes, modified pancreas insulin producing cells/genetics. Without immune suppression they're engulphed. But they did, once immune reaction was suppressed, they did embed, and survive. (Not a doctor, not a diabetic)
