- Nasrudith 1y agoSome churches see providing shelter for the homeless as an outright feature instead of a bug to correct. Sadly they tend to face backlash from neighbors for this. I know of one pastor who had a rather sad career trajectory from trying to do the right thing in setting up a homeless shelter at a church. The whole negative reception she received for being the only one doing the right thing was downright sick.
