Long time ago i came across the Japanese company "Nomadic Inc." and its series of "Wise-Walker" bags. These are lightweight, compact and highly functional with compartments galore (10-15 or more!) for organizing everything. This to me is how everyday carry bags should be designed. However they seem to be producing less of these designs nowadays (change in designer maybe?) though they still have a few which you can checkout at Amazon Japan.
