Would you find this new "Tool" finding service useful?

What is the benefit of this service rather then just using Google to find a tool?

Discovering new "tools" by following users with similar interests to that of your own.

With Google you'd never find out that your friend is using a particular "tool" if you weren't looking for it. Perhaps something would be extremely helpful to you, but you aren't aware of it and aren't actively searching for it.
