'Psylo browser' takes aim at digital fingerprinting
- jqpabc123 1y agoTheoretically and given a court order, Apple can figure out the randomly generated ID of the user in question. Bottom line: Any subscription based service (like this one) requires some sort of tracking. Without it, there can be no subscription control. What they (or Apple) choose to do with this tracking info is the real rub --- and is beyond the user's control. Time zone and language settings are easily changed --- and as a result are likely to be ignored in any fingerprinting algorithm. Claims regarding absence of personal info are just as applicable to browser fingerprinting.
