People need to stop moving out of their parent's house if they can't be stable. That's the root cause of a lot of the problems in the US.
- boroboro4 1y agoWe need to change money flows and redistribute wealth so people can have a hope of saving some money, because they actually can make more money than they absolutely need.
- immibis 1y agoAnd then you have the same people complaining about low birth rates...
- msgodel 1y agoDoes living independently before you get married make you more or less likely to have kids? That would be an interesting statistic.
- banannaise 1y agoThis assumes, among other things, that they come from a stable home that has space for them and access to the things they need to create and maintain an income stream.
- Whoppertime 1y agoIf you look at the home ownership rates of that generation it would be a fair assumption
- banannaise 1y agoFor the entire population, sure. For a subpopulation that doesn't have a stable income, not necessarily, particularly given class mobility statistics.
