What’s their motivation to build tools like uv and ruff? What’s their business model?
- joshdavham 1y agoThey’re still figuring it out and I believe that they’re also still pre-revenue. With that being said, if you’re able to capture a large part of the python ecosystem, I imagine business ideas won’t be too hard to come by!

- joshdavham 1y agoA private package registry is a pretty exciting idea! I honestly wouldn't have expected that idea from them. If they do pursue that idea, I wonder if they'd also have a public component to it that could act as a better PyPI?
