I liked this. It got me thinking:
Are there any large consumer software companies (just software; no hardware or retail) that are not advertising based?
- bluefirebrand 1y agoVideogames?
- oytis 1y agoMicrosoft? They do advertising among other things, but I don't think it makes the largest chunk of their revenue
- tonyedgecombe 1y agoI'm not sure I'd consider Microsoft consumer focussed. Most of their revenue comes from enterprises, OEM's and Azure.
