USAF B-2 Spirit Bombers Have Beds
- mensetmanusman 1y agoI remember seeing one above Pasadena and remarking about how $1 billion is above me.
- vel0city 1y agoThere is one on display in the USAF museum in Dayton, OH. Its quite a sight to see. Cool museum to check out overall as well. I have a photo from the second floor dining hall looking out to one of the hangars, that one photo has: - SR-71 - B-2 - U-2 - A-10 - F-4 and more. https://www.nationalmuseum.af.mil/Visit/Museum-Exhibits/Fact-Sheets/Display/Article/195832/northrop-b-2-spirit/ https://www.nationalmuseum.af.mil/Visit/Museum-Exhibits/Fact...
- cwmoore 1y ago$2B for each B-2 feels as coincidental as the Moon and Sun in eclipse.
- xedrac 1y agoIt's like a military palindrome...
- LorenPechtel 1y agoAFIAK all very long duration aircraft have sleeping provisions.
- bamboozled 1y agoSurprised?
- glimshe 1y agoI know that these are military planes that were built for the purpose of hurting and killing other human beings. This said, from a technology standpoint, they are amazing. In fact, I miss geeking out on the nonstop military innovations during the Cold war. Sort of a guilty pleasure. I'd love if they built them for no other reason than producing engineering marvels.
- xedrac 1y ago> for the purpose of hurting and killing other human beings. I would phase it as "for the purpose of deterring conflict because everyone knows they can hurt and kill human beings".
- stuaxo 1y agoWhat about a toilet?
