This is just another square in my world war three bingo board. Sits pretty close to breaking the nuclear taboo square.
- PeterHolzwarth 1y agoA country doesn't acquire nukes to use them. They acquire them to freeze specific layers of conflict. Actually using them among peers invites annihilation.

- mensetmanusman 1y agoStatistics says even if it’s true, unintended use probability sky rockets risking nuclear winter.
- PeterHolzwarth 1y agoIt turns out (and I didn't realize this until I looked back into it just a few years ago) that the 70s/80s concept of nuclear winter is discredited and believed not to be something that would arise from a global thermonuclear holocaust.
