A key problem is that anger, hate, and fear are more powerful motivators than hope and optimism. That fact has been leveraged to weaponize those emotions to a degree that inspires awe at it's success. Freedom to power your home without paying "the man" should be compelling to all who could use it. Texas is ironically a prime state for renewable energy and the dollars generated from it have convinced some, but many still reject it as "wokeness". It boggles the mind.
