Well Obama did not waste any time to start giving in to our enemies. When the ACLU is quoted as praising the presidents polices on the treatment of war criminals we are screwed! The ACLU is always trying to free murderers, pedophiles and terrorists but never protecting America. Bastards….

- Retric 18y agoI agree. And I flagged this thread. However, I would like to point out that some of the people there are probably innocent. My understanding is one of the people they picked up was 15 and had information, but had done nothing wrong so they drummed up charges and water bored him etc. I would rather we avoided holding show trials and quietly released those who where torchered for what they knew vs. what they did. At this point it's hard to guess what useful information these people still have.
- rms 18y agoThis comment is really stupid and I flagged the post. But... just about everyone in Guantanamo would much prefer to be tried, even in military court, rather than existing in legal limbo. They are incredibly pissed off that Osama's driver was basically sentenced to time served and they are still there indefinitely.
