Higher PWM frequency will let you use smaller inductors.
- addaon 1y agoYes, but you need to at some point decide it’s worth adding an inductor to the BOM — trace inductance isn’t enough at any sane switching frequency (and FET switching losses kick in at the insane frequencies). And BOM item costs more than no BOM item.
