'Failed vision': S.F. citizen body slams city, police for lack on Vision Zero
- iancmceachern 1y ago"The SFPD does not meaningfully enforce traffic laws." My experience exactly.
- JumpCrisscross 1y agoThe NYPD’s predecessor’s were abolished and rebuilt twice [1]. SFPD strikes me as similarly corrupted as those might have been. [1] https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_the_New_York_City_Police_Department https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_the_New_York_City...
- iancmceachern 1y agoThe whole local government is here.

- PaulHoule 1y agoZero sounds like an unrealistic vision to me. It's like deciding to fail before you set out.
- iancmceachern 1y agoIt's a great goal, the goal of a goal is to be the asymptote we use as one side of the curve. It would be weird to target an arbitrary number above 0.
