The Midas Project relies almost entirely on Estonian Skype co-founder Jaan Tallinn, who provides $150,000+ through his Survival and Flourishing Fund. The Tech Oversight Project’s $782,036 budget comes primarily from eBay founder Pierre Omidyar and Facebook co-founder Chris Hughes. The Tech Oversight Project raises funds using ActBlue, and has leadership composed entirely of individuals with Democratic Party employment histories.
