    It's hard to see how they have any real dog in this fight. Their income is not obviously affected by how little or much people use AI.

      I've had quite a few cases where I wanted to access a research report, and where in the past I would have asked my employer to shell out money for a report by the likes of Gartner, I've increasingly found myself relying on Deep Research. I don't 100% trust it, and would follow up with the sources, but the truth of the matter is that I never 100% trusted Gartner either. I don't anticipate their demise yet, but I do see AI as a very clear substitute for much of their work.
