Levels.fyi's Over-the-Air Updates on Mobile App
- josephcsible 1y ago> Over-the-air updates have played a very important role in our development cycle, helping us push newer features to users without requiring them to download newer versions of the app from Google Play/Apple Store. That isn't a good thing. I don't want my app to be able to update itself out of my control, and without me being able to downgrade by sideloading an old apk if something's wrong with the new version.
