- nanankcornering 1y agoChinese cloud platforms (led by Alibaba & Tencent Cloud) are disrupting the APAC region by offering up to 40% reduced pricing than their western counterparts. Indonesia's Gojek (Uber + Doordash + Paypal superapp), a heavy kubernetes company with 25 million MAU, migrates off GCP + AWS to Alibaba + Tencent. Wonder if CCP companies are going to enter the European/US market to disturb the long dominating AWS + GCP + Azure, esp with AWS's crazy prices.
