It's such a shame that Satoshi Kon died so young. Crazy it's almost 15 years already.

- bsder 1y agoThe passing of Satoshi Kon really hurt the advancement of anime. Both from the fact that it felt like Kon was really becoming a powerhouse as well as the people who were learning from him.
- spacechild1 1y agoDefinitely! What amazing films he could have made in all these years. I'm not really an anime fan, but Miyazaki and Satoshi belong to my all-time favourites.
- kyorochan 1y agoJust FYI that should be "Miyazaki and Kon", Satoshi is his first name.
- spacechild1 1y agoD'oh, I meant to write "Satoshi Kon". But thanks for pointing it out.
- awongh 1y agoGotta reference this amazing film essay (2015!) on Kon: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oz49vQwSoTE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oz49vQwSoTE
