Part of the reason is the PCIe 6 differ from PCIe 5 so much there will be a learning curve involved. Another reason being power consumption is already an issue with PCIe 5, took them 2-3 years to get the controller to under 10W while serving double the bandwidth of PCIe 4 SSD.
