You are suggesting that Israel should overthrow the regime. My conception of how Iranians would overthrow their government doesn't involve Israeli soldiers invading Iran, or a full-fledged war. My hope is, given the precarious state that Iran already is in, that an expensive and embarrassing failure - such as the destruction of its nuclear facilities - might be the final straw. I agree that a regime change could turn out to be a disaster, but if Pahlavi is as prepared for the event as he claims, then it could be fantastic.
