I like how the author mentioned typing speed tests as a “warm up” to the day. I frequently find myself going to do a typing speed test when I’m at my desk but unable to work, and have often wondered why I do that and if anyone else does that.

- footy 1y agoI do this too. I can tell from my MonkeyType graph which work periods I felt more demoralized or distracted during.
- laurieherault 1y agoI had never thought of that, but you are right, it is a solid source of information.
- kaashif 1y agoI sometimes procrastinate by firing up a jupyter notebook and making some visualizations of my MonkeyType data.
