Go has few advantages for this kind of workload - most of the time it'll just be waiting on io. And you suffer from the language itself; many type system features that you get for free in modern langauges require workarounds in Go. I've found that TypeScript is an excellent glue language for all kinds of AI. Python, followed by TS enjoy broad library support from vendors. I personally prefer it over Python because the type system is much more expressive and mature.
