Even this supreme court has said the way in which ice is "doing the work" that they're doing isn't constitutional. As in, the way in which "federal agents need to do it" is being done right now is literally illegal. Hence, protests. This isn't rocket science
- ExoticPearTree 1y agoOne case brought before the Supreme Court was the humanitarian legal status for migrants, which it was struck down and they can be sent back. The other was about the deportations, which the court said they need to serve deportees a notice of deportation before they are actually deported. There is no ruling that says ICE can't go after them wherever they are and arrest them.
