I believe the objection wasn't to the claim of decline but rather to the claim that it is a problem.

  The person directly referenced my claim that there are numerous sources and he called it “spewing shit”. So yes he was objecting to the fact that decline even exists. Which shows how ignorant he is.

    I strongly object to "look it up yourself" which is the argument of charlatans and lazy people. If you make a claim, support it yourself.
