Apple Unveils Liquid Glass Software Interface at WWDC Event
- leakycap 1y agoEverybody pop open your Layer Styles and let's add back those 90's fake raised edges and 2000s opacity  I'm interested in the usability. "Clear" as a background color on the notifications will be interesting in real life.
- iamdelirium 1y agoI think it just looks like Windows Vista or those ugly designs that people in the early 2000s posted about Linux desktop. They just look super dated.
- ikety 1y agoI'm sorry but this looks horrible
- allenu 1y agoI don't like it. From the videos, it looks very distracting in motion since the content underneath has a subtle effect. If anything, I want my UI to disappear until I need it, not call attention to itself.
- 3cats-in-a-coat 1y agoI noticed this too. I scroll the page, and instead of focusing on the page, the navigation bar on the bottom is rapidly bending light through the refractions screaming "LOOK AT ME, WTF!". This is literally opposite day for UX at Apple. Look at the chrome, not the content. Look at the background, not the foreground. What. The hell. Is going on.
