Ah, the woke agenda has gone too far..
Jokes aside, I think swaying away from discrete electronics has the potential to bring great innovation in fuzzy domains which do not require strict accuracy like ML or a subset of control systems (although when those are limited by computational power, flexibility tends to be rather valued)
- fspeech 1y agoTaking away strict accuracy also takes away reproducibility, which makes debugging much harder. As an example, I am struggling to understand how my younger one is turning out.
