If I ask LLM advices for my relationship and help me understanding my gf - I dont think I'll ever get an answer, nor can they handle that.
- yorwba 1y agoPeople who trauma-dump on me aren't typically looking for advice or help understanding other people, they just want to vent and have someone comfort them. I think this is also related to chatbot "sycophancy." People who just want solutions are put off by it, but for people who're looking for emotional support, having a chatbot say something nice to them is the whole point.
