I wonder if LLMs will ever not be AI. Applications using LLMs that aren't terrible experiences are so because they replace large parts of things people say LLMs can do with vector databases, glorified if conditions and brute force retrying. I coincidentally can run local LLMs (7900 XTX, 24 GB), but I almost never want to because the output of raw LLMs is trash.
