Apple Is on Defense at WWDC
- duxup 1y agoAs a user I find the pattern of "oh noes Apple" and "How to fix Apple" and such stores as weirdly disconnected from my experience. I don't much care that they lost a lawsuit, vision pro looked like a neat experiment but it didn't bother me that it didn't do well, and the AI stuff I lived without before and can continue to do so. Not that those don't matter, but the media snowball of articles, I'm not sure how much it reflects consumer sentiment.
- bigyabai 1y agoWWDC isn't really about consumers. It's about reassuring developers, which is a decidedly difficult task this year more than any. Would be a good time for Apple to announce some proactive changes. But they're more likely to persist on their current path until it's no longer profitable, hence the need for a defense to their non-shareholder partners.
