This is a competitive market, and other companies (Waymo, via the Uber app) already have general permits to operate in Austin.
They shouldn't have advance notice of Tesla's strategy and plans.
- 4rt 1y agoThis is trying to ban a city from publishing historic crash data on public roads, nothing to do with advanced strategy or plans.

- tim333 1y agoYou can argue they should be held to the same standards as Waymo. I don't recall any headlines about Waymo sueing to keep data private.
