I don’t think I could say the same thing about this piece of Lisp: I only understand the Haskell code as well as I do because the comment describes what it does (much more clearly than the docstring on the lisp function). Others have already posted about how unnecessarily verbose the lisp function is, so I won't rehash that part here.
