You supposedly entered this industry because you loved something, I hope. Don't let other people's actions and opinions destroy your peace. That being said, when I was young and naive, I took people's words literally (the good and the bad) and it used to drive me crazy. Now I recognize BS much more easily and keep my peace while doing what I love. So no, not disillusioned at all. If anything, more certain than ever.
