Online sports betting is a mug’s game.
I made a few hundred dollars and have quit for a couple of years now once I learnt that they can kick you out for doing too well.
- parpfish 1y agoI can see some benefits to in-person sports betting. Putting money on a game you don’t care about can make it exciting. Getting a bunch of people watching a game together with money on it is a way to drum up a crowd of enthusiastic temporary fans for any game, which might lead to a fun high energy atmosphere. The problem is that the crowd will likely have divided rooting interests and things could get… confrontational
