- lern_too_spel 1y agoThey're Brazilian, so while people might not talk to them in Spanish, I'm sure people talk to them in Portuguese. They probably used the term Latinx because they are both Latin and trans, which Latin alone doesn't convey. People complaining about words that other people use to describe themselves is a strange recent phenomenon. Just a few years ago, it was accepted that not everyone has to follow your religion.
