I'm sure this in jest, but my real answer: I remember so much more when I have notes to look back on. I store mine as some YYYY-MM-DD-Notes.txt and edit via local web UI or terminal/SSH. It's a blast to browse and see what I was thinking and doing, and how I've changed over time. I save working knowledge elsewhere as Topic.md in subfolders so I can remember how I deployed an app or fixed a recurring issue etc.
