Kayfabe. Remember Trump's involvement with pro wrestling and all the nonsense that goes along with that.
- techpineapple 1y agoMaybe, but Trump can take that Kayfabe pretty far, he has a history of sort of disproportionately screwing over the people closest to him.
- duxup 1y ago>Kayfabe I don't think Elon brings up Epstein if they're just messing around.
- dragonwriter 1y agoEpstein is perfectly safe for Elon to bring up; Trump's association is well known, and everyone who supports Trump has already discarded it, and everyone who opposes Trump has already weighed it into their opinion as much as they are going to; nothing is moved by it.
- ben_w 1y agoHmm. Could be. But are both of their egos up to remembering it's fake? Musk might, he used that to back down in 2019, but can Trump ever back down?
- danso 1y agoHe didn’t just claim that Trump was in the Epstein files, he asserted that that was the reason that the yet-unreleased files are being prevented from release.
